CSO review: A vast exploration of Leonard Bernstein’s legacy over 2 nights

For starters, Alsop was blessed to lead the CSO and the combined forces of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, directed by Duain Wolfe; Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, directed by Cheryl Frazes Hill; and Chicago Children’s Choir, directed by Josephine Lee. Add to this a superb cast of vocal soloists, and you had one of the more galvanic nights of this season’s Ravinia Festival.
