NASCAR has reportedly made its decision on who will sing the national anthem for Sunday's Grant Park 220 at the inaugural Chicago Street Race.

Per FOX Sports' Bob Pockrass, local act Uniting Voices Chicago will perform the anthem at the Cup Series' first ever street course and will feature over 30 choir members from the program.

NASCAR Chicago Street Race announced Wednesday that Uniting Voices Chicago (formerly Chicago Children’s Choir) will perform the national anthem prior to Sunday’s Grant Park 220 Cup Series street race on July 2.

The live performance, which will be broadcast nationally on NBC, will include more than 30 local singers from the non-profit organization, whose mission is to empower youth from diverse backgrounds through the power of music.

Uniting Voices Chicago will include more than 30 local performers as part of the national anthem prior to the start of the first-ever NASCAR Cup Series street race, which will be nationally broadcast on NBC on Sunday, July 2 at 4:30 p.m. CT.

Uniting Voices performs largest concert with 3,000 students at Millennium Park

On Thursday, May 25, Uniting Voices (formerly Chicago Children’s Choir) brought together all its separate choirs to perform their Paint the Town Red concert at Millennium Park’s Pritzker Pavilion. The concert is one of the organization’s largest performances of the year, consisting of over 3,000 students from their network of in-school programs and after-school programs across the city. Through these programs, Uniting Voices works with over 80 Chicago Public Schools.

Their harmony is all thanks to one organization in particular that's using music to change lives.

3,000 youth singers "Paint the Town Red" at Millennium Park concert

Millennium Park was a sea of red on Thursday, as this year's Uniting Voices "Paint the Town Red" event kicked off the park's summer concert series in a big way, with thousands of young people singing their hearts out downtown.

"You have to be the light. You have to be the light for yourself, and the choir is not just a choir, but we're movement, and were moving people through music," said Disney II Magnet School junior Isis Clark. "This is like my year, and so I'm very excited."

3,000 youth singers to converge on Millennium Park for Paint the Town Red

“Paint the Town Red is a showcase of Chicago’s youth and what they can achieve when they come together,” said Josephine Lee, who heads up Uniting Voices and will be directing her troops on stage. “All year long we are raising global leaders through music, instilling in them a curiosity for the world and an appreciation for other cultures. Paint the Town Red is the culmination of that work with a celebration that shows the best side of our city’s youth.”
