Jeff leads Bain's Divestitures and Spin-offs practice globally. He is also a leader in the Americas Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.
Jeff has spent the last 20 years in consulting and has helped companies in various industries, such as pharmaceuticals (small and large molecule), medical devices, healthcare payer, healthcare provider, automotive, insurance, distribution (cold chain and non-cold chain), packaging (rigid and flexible), retail, restaurant and agriculture.
Jeff focuses on advising leadership teams on their M&A strategy which includes guiding them through acquisition, divestiture, and spin-off transactions. In that capacity, he has led 50 corporate and private equity due diligence assessments and advised on 30+ acquisition, divestiture, and spin-off transactions with a cumulative value of $250B+.
Jeff earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BBA, with honors, from the University of Michigan.
In his personal time, Jeff enjoys rock climbing with his wife Laura and daughters Evelyn and Eleanor, trying his hand at K-Pop drop in dance practices, and exploring all of the wonderful nooks and crannies of our great city of Chicago. Evelyn and Eleanor are both alums of the Nettelhorst school choir of Uniting Voices.
