Voice of Chicago is Uniting Voices Chicago’s most advanced ensemble, empowering high-schoolers across the city through an extensive performance schedule that includes touring and collaborations with Chicago’s finest cultural institutions.
Through the decades, members of this ensemble have toured more than 25 countries on five continents and performed for international leaders, such as former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former South African President Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. Additionally, they have collaborated with the likes of Yo Yo Ma, Luciano Pavarotti, Beyoncé, Chance the Rapper, the Eagles, Andrea Bocelli and Bobby McFerrin.
Singers from Voice of Chicago performed "MIENTRAS ME CURO DEL CORA" with Colombian pop superstar Karol G on Saturday Night Live on April 15.
My experience in Voice of Chicago has just made me grow as a human being, not just as a musician, because of all of the languages that I’ve gotten to explore, the people I’ve gotten to meet—it just reminds me why I love to make music. Everyone here is so supportive, it’s like a family to me.
